AlexisAt the age of seven, Alexia Fast wrote, was the director and star in an animated short film titled The Red Bridge. Following her first professional contract She acted in Fido (2006). Fast has been featured in a several television movies, feature films and in episodes of a variety of TV series. Fast was a part of Hungry Hills, and Repeaters that both debuted at Toronto International Film Festival. The year 2010 was the year that she had a leading role for the role of Triple Dog. In 2012, she was an acting role that was a minor one in the film Jack Reacher. Fast was in the film for eight years. Fast has won the award twice. Leo Awards, the first one was in 2007 and it was in the category Best Leading Performance of an Female in a Feature Length Drama , for her performance in the Past Tense[10] as well as 2011 , in the category of Best Supporting Performance for female actors in a feature Length dramatic film for Repeaters.

Firefly was Whedon's upcoming success and it's safe to say that she had an impact. The Summer Glau River Tam character was complex and Glau dealt with it well. In the role of Tam her character, she was enticed into government-sponsored experiments in which she was being trained to be the ultimate assassin. Tam lost her ability to control her emotions as a result. Glau got the chance to show off not only her acting talents, but her fighting skills on Firefly. It was also evident that learning to be an assassin enabled Glau to fully use her athletic abilities. Summer Glau, a trained classical ballerina. Her dancing abilities include flamenco, tango, as well as a range of different kinds. But a broken toe cut her off from performing.
