Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
She was initially inspired by the shadows that were cast onto grass. Months later, she developed a method that did not make the subject on canvas as an image that was flat. It is more like the subject has been transformed into it's own representation, and the surface takes on the artist's interpretation. This is especially effective for objects that are living as well as items that have a shelf life like fruits and people. Alexa Meade's paintings are ephemeral and the image is the only thing that is left. Techniques of photography and painting are tightly coordinated, resulting in a flat, two-dimensional space which achieves trompe-l'oeil. The only areas of the photo like hair and eyes, show the 3D dimension. Meade sometimes incorporates painted models within the surrounding space. It allows them to be part of the world the artist has constructed. It eliminates any distinction between painting, photography and installation.
