Angela Sun
Angela Sun is an American journalist and presenter of television, sportscaster, and documentary filmmaker. Angela Sun is a multi-award winning journalist, sportscaster and producer. Her degree is in Sociology and Communication from the University of California. Sun's surfing ability was exceptional and she participated in a number of pro-am events. Sun was sponsored by major brands like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. The fame she gained from participating in these events that led her into the world of entertainment. Later, she went to become an actress, sportscaster filmmaker and investigative journalist. Sun has been employed by a variety of news channels mainly as anchor. In 2003 Sun was an Fox Sports Net Correspondent. She also been host of American Ninja Warrior alongside Matt Iseman and Jonny Moseley back in 2012. Sun was the host of The Yahoo Sports Minute in 2014. Sun is the first Asian American person to appear in the ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun has worked in numerous films and her abilities as an actress are lauded and acknowledged. Her roles include Goliath (2016, Hit the Floor 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway 2009) Shackled 2005, Street Kings 2008 and Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004. In 2014, Sun launched Platic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch the full-length documentary on the effects of trash in the oceans and the impact it has on the ecosystem. Sun wrote, directed and produced herself.
