Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is the daughter of a mixed-race family from South London in England. Her father is Nigerian as well as Swiss as well as the mother of her is English. She was a student at The Brit School when she was fourteen years old. At the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she earned an acting BA. At school, she was a part-time actor in numerous stage plays, like the King Henry V's Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights.

Madekwe starred as the lead character on How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others. The comedy that was released in 2008. A couple of her credits on stage are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe was a part of Ashley Davenport for the ABC show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode show aired only for two weeks on The CW and then it came to an end. Ashley Davenport, a character on ABC's Revenge drama, was chosen for her as Ashley Davenport. Madekwe was a regular in the drama series on ABC Revenge for two seasons. The show was announced in May 2013 that she'd be leaving the series following one guest appearance on the first series of the 3rd. In the television series Salem in 2014, she portrayed Tituba in 2014 through the year 2016. From June to July 2012, she married her long-time boyfriend actor Iddo Goldberg. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also played as a couple in Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario and was a part of a large family. Four of her older brothers were present as well and included twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's brothers were athletic and played baseball in summer and hockey in the winter. Ashley could never walk, however she did dance. As she was two and a half, she began Baby Ballet and fell in love. Ashley was hooked on dance from that moment. Ashley competed in tap, jazz and ballet in the high divisions. She won the top soloist awards at all of the most prestigious dance competitions like, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance to name a few.
