Dua Lipa is an English musician and singer born on August 22, 1995, at London United Kingdom. She decided to sign to Warner Bros Records in 2014 after working as a model. She released her self-titled debut album in 2017. The album peaked at number three in the U.K. Albums Chart and produced eight singles including Be the One I.D.G.A.F as well as the U.K. top-ranked single New Rules which peaked at sixth on the charts in the United States. Firefly was Whedon's upcoming success and it's safe to say that she had an impact. The Summer Glau River Tam character was complex and Glau dealt with it well. In the role of Tam her character, she was enticed into government-sponsored experiments in which she was being trained to be the ultimate assassin. Tam lost her ability to control her emotions as a result. Glau got the chance to show off not only her acting talents, but her fighting skills on Firefly.
