Dua Lipa is an English musician and singer born on August 22, 1995, at London United Kingdom. She decided to sign to Warner Bros Records in 2014 after working as a model. She released her self-titled debut album in 2017. The album peaked at number three in the U.K. Albums Chart and produced eight singles including Be the One I.D.G.A.F as well as the U.K. top-ranked single New Rules which peaked at sixth on the charts in the United States. The album, which has since been recognized as Platinum in several nations around the globe was awarded two Brit Awards (in 2018) in the categories of British female single artist as well as British Breakthrough Artist. Lipa was heavily influenced by music by her father the lead singer and guitarist of Oda, the Kosovan rock group Oda.
